The health and care system in Germany is one of the most comprehensive in the world. Maintaining the sustainability of this system despite an ageing society is the current challenge for us all. Digitalisation and artificial intelligence can be a major lever for improving efficiency in the care and healthcare system. We have therefore set ourselves the task of making our contribution. We have taken the first step with the stand-by.care app:
17 million people in Germany live alone, which often means that health emergencies are noticed too late. The stand-by.care app offers a solution: it monitors the daily activities of senior citizens and alerts trusted persons if irregularities are detected. This promotes a sense of security and independence for people living alone. In this way, the app contributes to the support and well-being of older people, promoting a healthy and carefree life.
