A milestone for artiso solutions GmbH: Volker Rath was honoured as Senator in the Bavarian State Parliament!
On 25 November 2023, a significant milestone was reached for Volker Rath, Managing Director of artiso, in the Bavarian State Parliament. At the annual convention of the Senate of the German Economy, Volker Rath received his official certificate of appointment as a senator, a position he had already been awarded in 2020. The ceremonial handover took place in the presence of the Senate’s visionary Executive Board, Norbert Streveld, and Dr Christoph Brüssel, as well as the former Baden-Württemberg Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr Walter Döring.
A forum for sustainability and global responsibility
The event not only provided a platform for recognition, but also created awareness and visibility for the pressing issues in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A particular highlight was the inspiring speech by Dr Auma Obama, Barack Obama’s dedicated half-sister. With her urgent appeal, “You are your future!”, she motivated the audience to go beyond mere donations and invest in sustainable change. The evening culminated in an opera gala and a festive dinner, where participants engaged in further dialogue and exchange about sustainable initiatives. These moments of reflection emphasised the importance of global partnerships in the fight against inequality and the need for responsible action.
