“Most Innovative Companies 2025”
SZ Institute Ranking

artiso solutions GmbH is pleased to announce that it has achieved Rank 77 in the SZ Institute’s “Most Innovative Companies 2025” ranking for Germany. The renowned institute published the results on October 23, 2025, in the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The evaluation is based on a solid analysis of more than 2,786 companies and demonstrates more clearly than ever: those who invest systematically in innovation secure not only short-term success, but also long-term market and competitive strength.

“This award confirms that our path as a family-owned company – developing bespoke software solutions with deep technical expertise and a clear technological ambition – is the right one,” explains Volker Rath, Managing Partner of artiso solutions GmbH. “Achieving Rank 77 in Germany among the 100 honored companies is also an incentive for us to continue pursuing our mission with passion.”

Innovation as a Driver

According to the SZ Institute’s analysis, innovation thrives not on big announcements but on the willingness to question familiar thinking, redesign processes, and connect knowledge cooperatively – with research institutions, start-ups, and future-oriented companies. For artiso, this means something very concrete: since 1991, we have seen ourselves as tech pioneers. Our mission: “We develop digital products for our customers – not off the shelf, but with intelligence, creativity, and a clear vision of what technology can achieve.” We combine deep technical expertise with the power of AI to bring ideas to life faster, simplify processes, and create digital products that inspire.

A Strong Mix: Stability Meets Start-up Spirit

As a subsidiary of the publicly listed Uzin Utz SE, artiso is solidly positioned and secure; at the same time, we think and work like a start-up – bold, open, and experimental. We act as a partner, advisor, and innovation driver for companies across Europe – and we seek people who want to build the future, not just talk about it. In the current innovation ranking, artiso demonstrates that technology-driven corporate development is not at odds with reliable management but forms a synergy that creates competitive advantages.

Significance of the Award

The ranking evaluates companies based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria – including the ratio of self-created industrial property rights to total assets as well as creditworthiness and payment metrics. The award makes artiso’s innovative strength visible – to customers, partners, employees, and the market. Securing a place among the Top 100 – and achieving Rank 77 – reflects a consistent innovation strategy within a competitive field of more than 2,700 companies.

Outlook

artiso does not view this ranking as a final milestone but as a starting signal. We will continue to advance our innovation projects with even greater focus – particularly in the area of AI-supported software solutions for sustainable applications and digital business models. The innovation spin-off of our digital care app “stand-by.care”, developed in close cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm, aims to transition the product – previously developed within a research consortium – into an independent company and thereby make a meaningful contribution to modernizing the care sector.

This project gains special societal relevance as it matures at a time when the baby-boomer generation is entering the age of high care dependency – a phase in which the structural shortage of care workers, nursing homes, and residential facilities will inevitably become one of the major challenges of the coming decade. With its technology-supported solution “stand-by.care”, artiso aims to make a substantial and human-centered contribution.

This is just one of artiso’s projects. We remain a partner for transformation – for companies and organizations that are not satisfied with the present but want to shape the future.
